Jim Pierret and Rodney Fillmore join the podcast to talk about upcoming the Midwest College and University AV Summit v6.0 happening at Winona State University on Thursday and Friday, March 14–15, 2019, in Winona, MN. We talk about the importance of building and connecting to your community of local higher ed AV professionals, the conference, and what you can expect as an attendee. I will also be presenting the keynote address on "More than Black Boxes." Jim is now retired from Carleton College where he served as Presentation Technology Specialist from 1996–2018; Rodney serves as the Head of Academic Media Services at St. Catherine University.
